To Noah or not to Noah?

I always wondered about this, and is it a Biblical Metphor, or the real deal? How do you fit two of EVERY specis in the specified dimensions of the "discovered" Ark?

"Geologists say even though there is evidence of a flood in Mesopotamia in Sumerian times, it is not possible for a ship to make landfall at an altitude as high as Mount Ararat."

And the scientific community disputes everything they cannot explain.

There are two different accounts of Noah's ark in the Bible. In one, two of every animal are loaded on, and in the other, seven pair of the clean, and one pair of the unclean are "arked"...which would seem even more challenging for an 600 year old man.
