Well, ok, I'm just calling it an Austral for lack of a better identifier. It may or may not "officially" be an Austral as there's no model name on the sweat.

The 1922 date is based on the leather band it came with:

My oldest is a Cavanagh straw. 1928-1936

My oldest is a late 1940s Imperial Stetson in Suede Finish. It has a whip stitched felted hat band, similar to a Stetson Tijuana. It also sports a 2 5/8 raw edge brim. It looks to be something of a rare hat. I only saw two others just like it. One of the other hats showed an original price tag of $16.50. It's a real nice hat, but unfortunately, it's a 7 1/8. Too small for me.
