One of my best childhood memories was when Dad took us to Georgia to visit an Army buddy of his (this was in the mid-to-late 1960s). The buddy owned a candy vending route and we got to ride in the back of the truck eating all the candy we could. He was also a wrecker/tow-truck driver and was used to responding to emergencies so we were going pretty fast and sliding around all over the place. I think Dad about had a stroke...
