Wish I could pay what that guy did for a headlight replacement. I was quoted $1400 insurance estimate for one for my truck (after smacking a deer). Dang disco lights...

My boss, who has that same truck, had a homeland security agent pull out in front of him a few months ago. It got both headlights among other things. It really didn't look like 5,000 dollars worth, but it sure was. Uncle Sam didn't bat an eye.

An upholstery shop operator on Atwood Avenue in Madison, Wisconsin c.1967 had a thing for Metropolitans, which could be had for not much more than pocket change back then. As I recall, he painted ’em all yellow and black and parked ’em out front of his shop. A friend (still a friend, all these years later) lived quite near, so I witnessed the collection as it grew.

Old hands to this thread will remember this ornament from a few years back. The Fading Fasts took out some Christmas decorations today and this guy was excited to joy in the fun. We'll get him on the tree - once we get a tree.
