I may be the Luddite of all Luddites, but I much prefer an actual printed newspaper over any kind of an online version -- because it's much much easier to browse thru it looking for interesting articles, and there's always that sense of anticipation of what might be on the next page. (And it's easier to take along to the lunch counter than a laptop!)

I've read a daily paper every day, front to back, since I was six years old -- and I expect I will until the very last print edition disappears. Nothing beats the smell of newsprint in the morning.

I too like reading a newspaper with the exception of the ink that gets on my fingers. :)
Any complaints I have heard about the accuracy or variety of news reporting in print can certainly be applied to online news organizations.
What we probably will all agree on is the horror that is the evening television news reports! ;)

That is why I would never pay to receive the dribble that is in the "news"papers. Free online--fine. The local rag is ridiculous. I have been at events that were reported on and in reading the account I often wonder if I was in the same place or even on the same planet as the reporter. :eusa_doh:
