Opening this week in selected theaters is a musical set in Ireland "about a busker and an immigrant and their eventful week, as they write, rehearse and record songs that tell their love story."
Yesterday was the day I viewed this movie and it was a different kind of musical. Not one in a Moulin Rouge sense nor one in a traditional sense. It had a style all it's own. It was nice to watch and from beginning to end, there was something coming from every direction, wanting you to expect love to happen. It's not until the end that you walk away with thought. The only real trouble I had was that the camera was shaking almost throughout the entire film. Not too much that you didn't know what was going on, but to a point where it had no point. Only shaking to be rebelious, and not for any particular purpose. If it's playing near you, take a break and see it.
