Orphans and Tom Waits

I am listening to Tom Waits great album Orphans right now. It's truely amazing and I will just recommend it to everybody.
It has a lot of Kerouac and the 40s and 50s written all over it.
And the grapic design of the album is a little masterpiece in itself.

I thought the album literature would have some history of the tunes in it. Its just song lyrics. I was a bit bummed about that, but I love how the albums are divided by Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards. That was fun

I say Brawlers is my fave thus far (Ive listend to all the ablums at least twice). And the song 2:19 is my fave *listening to it now*

Wow, not really sure how I missed this thread, but thanks for the "review"! I was HOPING to get this for Christmas (got socks instead! lol ).....I will be ordering a copy today, can't wait to hear it.
