That looks like a "twisted weave fedora" to me. Third from the top:

You might possibly also call it a "C Crown".

That's what they call it on that website but I think this style/proportion, without pinches has a specific name... 'twisted weave', however is the description of the weave...

I bought a montecristi grueso about a year ago from ebay (incabox). The seller called it santa fe style. I don't know if that is a the vintage name or just a modern name for this style of hat. I hope this info gives you a good starting point in your search.

It was very popular in the late twenties and early thirties to have bashed hats without any pinch at all. My guess is this is simply a teardrop with the "fedora" brim requested to be turned down with no pinch.

It does have a French Colonial flair. I think one of the people in Papyon has one.
