Peter Boyle, the tall, prematurely bald actor who was the tap-dancing monster in "Young Frankenstein" and the curmudgeonly father in the long-running sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," has died. He was 71.

I have fond childhood memories of him singing "Putting on the Ritz."
And I really enjoyed his award winning performance on XFiles.
His grouchy wisecracks on EverybodyLovesRaymond kill me everytime. He echos a lot of the old guys I grew up around in B'kyln.

Peter Boyle was a great guy, Young Frankenstein is one of my all time favorites, I saw Boyle only about 6 months ago, and he was still laughing and being funny but you could tell he was weak in health, what a guy. :eusa_clap
This guy became close friends with John Lennon.
"We were both seekers after a truth, looking for a quick way to enlightenment," Boyle once said of Lennon, who was best man at his wedding.
How sad, we'll miss you Pete R.I.P.
