    Wool felt hat; grey with greenish tinge (faded!?); no paper labels

    Brand "Panonia" - one of the many unknown producers in the East?

    Pretty sure pre war - but from when exactly???

    As a supplement:
    I just found a stamp on the leather,
    showing an eagle with an illegible inscription.

    Definitely not the Nazi eagle with swastika,
    but the eagle of the Weimar Republic or later the federal eagle.
