Thanks so much everybody. I was really happy to land this one. I love the Boss Raw Edge Westerns from the early 20th century.
Perry - I would love to wear this one, but unfortunately its a small 6 7/8 and way too tight for my head.
Red - I have seen very similar Horsehair braids on other vintage westerns, and I believe it was made by a large manufacture at the time. More than likely it was purchased at the Cody Trading store which is where the hat was originally purchased.
