Does anyone have any information about this hat? I can't find anything on it. I have a vintage (perfect condition), I think never worn. Resistol self conforming beoing 737 beaver **x a byer-rolnick product hat, it also came with an airplane pin. It was purched at lyttons(chicago) in the (I think 50's), I have the origional recipt.

Can you make out the date on that receipt? The Boeing 737 was conceived in 1964 and didn't roll off the line until 1968. It's doubtful that a hat would have been named after it before it existed. It's an interesting product concept that echoes the Stetson Stratoliner.

Based on the brim width, lining, and the history of the Boeing 737 itself, I'd say this is a late 60's / early 70's fedora.
