This is absolutely gorgeous!
Made in Italy by Corneliani for Ralph Lauren Polo Blue Label, this is cut from a wonderful linen cloth in cream miniature herringbone.
Perfect for Summer, this is absolutely beautifully cut--as you'd expect from Corneliani.
The jacket drapes beautifully, and the darts provide it with an elegant silhouette. It has a single center vent, and four button cuffs. The lapel has a beautifully fluid roll, and the shoulders are--of course!--wonderfully soft and natural. It features three patch pockets--the lwoer two are flapped while the top is set at an insouciantly elegant angle.
Unstructured, the body of the jacket is quarter-lined showing off the workmanship and construction of the interior--including the fact that it has pick stitching throughout. The sleeves are fully lined for ease of wear; the lining is a cream rayon.
The shoulders have laped seams, and there is a single lapped seam down the back.
This jacket is in excellent condition. There si a very small shadow blemish on the lapel, which I only found while photographing in bright sunlight close up; this will likely vanish with the first dry clean, and in any case is unlikely to be noticed--including by you!
