Reproduction Irvin jacket comparison photos

Hi guys,

I thought it might be good to show a few comparison photos of one of my Irvin jackets next to an original. The original is dated 1943, and isn't the jacket I used to make the pattern (that jacket was from 1941), but I think it works well for a general comparison.

Also, here are a couple of photos of mine next to an Eastman jacket, plus a comparison of sleeves (Eastman, original, mine).

I know that there's such a lot of variation when it comes to original Irvins, and other repros, but hopefully this is interesting.

Cheers,

Jon

The fleece of yours looks a little bigger "grained" and not as smooth, but thats all.
The only other thing is: how much does it cost? :D:D

I made the same conclusion based solely on condition of zip pull. As I understand it was meant like that - not to point original to show impressive result of Jon's labour. I wonder if the collar shape can be curved as on Aero IRVINS.
