sorry to keep you up in the air

I just got in.
Velda Bellinghausen is a fictional character from the book VELDA by Ron Miller.
If you go to the site and click on "A Real Book About One Of My Cases!" it shows how to order the book. You can also get it on Amazon. I believe the Thrilling Detective site has some short stories of Velda by Ron Miller also.
The PDFs are all fictional but made to look vintage.
I hope this helps.

A howl goes out in the night,

Actually, I'm working on my own 50's pulp mystery... With hints of Ovid and Virgil:) It's a fun theme to play with, and gives you a certain freedom since pulps are supposed to be a little cliched anyway.

A Reply From Velda, Sort Of

Glad to hear some of you have run across the Velda website, since it's been a lot of fun to create (an ever-ongoing process, to say the least). The most recent additions have been a pair of honest-to-God comic books . . . with, hopefully, more on the way!
