It is a soft pliable felt that I described as Sage Green, but it really looks more like the color of Basil, a grey green. The felt is flawless and free of stains, damage or moth bites. The brim is a generous 2 5/8. Its only flaw is the sweat band. The leather is in good shape, but at some point the stitching came loose and was repaired. The repair is actually not bad and the hat is fully wearable. The lining is a bit yellowed and faded, but otherwise in good shape. Wish it fit.
