seeking info on ACKO - British mens tie & neckwear brand

I have three bow ties by Acko and while I've seen the brand many times before I've been unable to find even a vague history of the company. I know from the trademark that it was registered in 1928 and the mark expired in 2008. The owner of the trademark is listed as Frederick Theak, another high quality British mens neckware brand I'm sure some of you are familiar with, so evidentally there was a takeover at some point. I love to know if you've ever found out anything about the brand or company and would also welcome photo submissions of Acko labelled items you have, please do include the decade if you know it.

I have had some of their stuff over the years. Theak still make very good quality ties. I thought they might even be Irish.
