Interesting note that in old pictures just how many well dressed men had stains or splatters on their pants legs ( lots of mud and lack of pavement? lol) I have a picture of my great grandfather about 1890 in St Clair Co, Alabama when he was a County Commissioner. There was a group picture of his fellow Commissioners and Judges on the steps of the courthouse all dressed in suits ( and most in large brimmed hats) all with mud splatters from the knees down ( ******* near them were horses and riding mules that also were mud covered from the knees down) How far weve come! I need to dig out some of those picture and add them here... Cool thread

But something's goin' wrong 'round here
There's rollers in my rear-view mirror
And those Atoka dogs can smell your very fear
And my plates are out of state
So I get a bit more hell
I tell him I don't wish him harm
But I sure don't wish him well
But he'll use that Okie scare on me
And the highway boys get a show for free
He says do you have something you should let me see

No sir

"A young man from a small town
With a very large imagination
Lay alone in his room with his radio on
Looking for another station
When the static from the mouthpiece
Gave away to the sound below
James Dean went out to Hollywood
N' put his picture in a picture show"

This week, I will be launching a new series on my YouTube channel called "Fedora Friday" where I will be covering famous hat movies, music and other aspects of pop culture of your choice. I already have what I think are 4 good hat movie choices and I invite you all to vote for the movie you want to see covered. So far, "Road to Perdition" (2002) is currently in the lead but it is not too late to vote for your choice HERE.
