Good morning folks.
I just got my first made to measure suit from my tailor. Turned out to be a pretty good accidental Hercule Poirot impression. I was trying out different hats and combinations. I'd like to hear your thoughts. The Dobbs Golden Coach Homburg works well I think but I was hoping one of my Fedoras would work as well.

Dating such classic garments is always a bit tricky, but based on the square shoulders and the label, I'd guess the 1950s.

Anyway, I completely agree with the previous speaker: very elegant, sir. Wonderful!
That was my approximate guess too, but I found some info about it in the national business data base, that tailor house it was officially registered in 1966. It's now defunct.

Very interesting: I wouldn't have thought that! Then the tailoring would date from the late 60s/early 70s at the earliest, and therefore, in my opinion, rather conservative – including the label. On the other hand, a conservative cut certainly suits such a conservative garment

Hi TFLers love suit

How would you evaluate this Brioni double-breasted suit? Is it a vintage piece or a more recent production?
