I picked up this old computer system, the last one sold and made by Timex of Portugal.
Timex Terminal 3000 (boxed)
Timex FDD3000 (boxed)
Timex Sinclair 2040 (boxed)
Neptun 156 monitor (broken)
ZX Spectrum 48K Issue 2 (broken and no cardboard sleeve)
Lots of 3" disks

I never had seen before a boxed Timex Terminal 3000!

but not much on the actual sound. This video has at least a short demo of the :horn:

They're supposed to have a range of over a mile, which is why the police selected them in 1883. They were used all over the world until the 1970s.

The same company (J Hudson & Co) still manufactures them, but they're more for props, souvenirs and police uniforms than for much else, these days.

Match sticks with toothpicks second & third is needles...but looks like lead pencils

Hmm well it does have spikey type things inside well at least a couple of, if it helps I think it's around 1920-ish....no markings at all anywhere and it appears to be bright nickel plated as it leaves black on the cloth when polished unlike chrome which doesn't really!

A vintage (30s or so?) portable Stella Brevetto espresso maker in unused condition. I love how it has a tiny cup with folding handle. Now I just need some alcohol stove fuel and watch out!!
