Here's a batch of American ties I collected the past few years:

30's brocade - a rare black one:

end 40's "Tropical Bird Plumage" by Cheney Cravats - one of my favorites:

early 50's tie in purple & yellow: "Golden Shuttle Fabric" by Mc Currach - sold by "The Union" Columbus ?

And another Bold Look tie - no tag:

Knot planned fall collection by "Rhynecliff" with the "dots" (small red felt patches):
sold for 98 c by Martin-Rogers in Harrison, Ark.

End 40's Haband: one of my favs...

"Currie - Pure Woll" - late 30's/early 40's? Plain red one but with a lovely weaving pattern!

"Palm Beach Tie" - a "wilde" one I wait for summer!

Early 50's "Pilgrim" tie: "Pure Silk French Originals"

Did you recognize the small black unicorns?

It is awfully quiet around here. I guess everyone is going through a dry spell. I know I haven't found anything new in a while ...... and I have to resist the ebay. There's many beauties there, but much too expensive usually.

Hey you two! I bought a tie at the DAV Thrift.

100% Scottish Lambswool. 58" x 3". Probably not that old, but will work nicely with some of my plaid shirts.
