No maker mark on the tie but the compliments were many today on her...

Today's: 4-1/2" wide by Hut. Feels like a foulard of silk-cotton blend. While I understand the "foulard" part of the label, does anyone know what "dove back" (I assume that's a B) means?

Dove Back, I think, refers to the hand of the material. It should be nice, soft and smooth---like a Dove's Back.
