Now that my dad has my Lee, he told me to put up his previous hat for sale.
It's a twenty or so year old black hat custom made by hats in the belfry.
While not vintage felt, the fur felt is very fine, and is soft, unlike most new hats. If I had to compare it to something, I'd say it felt like the felt used on champ or adam hats.
My dad hardly wore it, and therefore it is very clean, with the exception of some green-ness underneath the plastic from the lettering of the logo.
It has a raw edge 2-1/4 inch brim, and a 1 inch ribbon.
This hat was on loan from my dad to Bruce Steeg, pianist for Quintango for several years, and became his signature. A picture of him wearing it is at the bottom.
It is a 7-1/4.
65 dollars (shipped) within the US.
