Hey people,
I was watching "The Wind That Shakes the Barley" last night and am determined to find a cap like this, but need a source. They seem to look like driving caps but have the "poofiness" of a newsboy. I've posted some links that have pictures from the movie. Any help is appreciated.

I have a Hanna, and while it is a great cap (may favorite) it doesn't have the "puff" of the ones in the pictures. All I've found that has that full look as the flat caps from the movie stills is something like an 8/4 newsboy, which has a button on the top (my 2nd favorite) and thus not the same. I guess I'm looking for something in between.
I've looked at B! Wear and all of their hats are the 8/4 newsboys.

There are any number of caps similar to those available on eBay. A search for "vintage hats" or "vintage wool caps" should yield some. Of course they would also be listed as "newsboy caps" (or even "berets" for some odd reason).

PS- I just realised the caps you're looking at are featured in a movie about Ireland- try looking on eBay.ie or eBay.uk!
