Dry bash it however you like. The felt is moldable like clay and warm to the touch. These are easily shapeable but are not "floppy" hats. Notice in the picture there is a small amount of rust staining around the Stetson logo on the wind cord button. Also, near the ribbon, there are some very shallow tracks as shown in the picture. Underneath the ribbon there are some deeper ones, but not even close to going through. I would NOT be letting this hat go if I did not have one that fits me better - it's just a tad large on me. This hat is in nicer condition than the one I am keeping - don't get me wrong - I love the one that I am keeping. I looked long and hard for it and an awesome lounger made it happen.
