7 1/2 LO *** Club, circa 1939 with pin. I have this identical hat in 3 sizes. One came with the original 1939 receipt.

That hat's very late '50s if not '60s. Definitely not 1939.

Way to bring out the 'Big ***s' Jimmy!

Carter's might not be as old as thought but it's the oldest among what we've seen here so far - and an interesting style for sure.

Others who have posted look great too! Makes me want to see some more versions or even ads from different eras showing different variations on the GC theme.

Atticus, did you have the brim on the Dune modified? I thought Dune's had bound edges of wider lengths. [huh]

You can just call me Rob RMR is just my initials.

Yep, Dad wears a 6 7/8. He's 77! He was always a flat cap wearer generally. I was able to score a sweeeeet old Dobbs Game Bird for him about 2 months ago. It's a mid tan with an angora finish from about the same era as our *** Clubs I'm thinking.
We went out to luch right after I picked it up for him, and we got about 4 comments, all positive, from folks we encountered! :eusa_clap He's been wearing the fedora more now...

This is my modern Stetson *** Club; bronzine in color and 2 1/2" brim. I bought it at Hatco in early fall, 2008.

Gary, That *** Club is a beauty and the humidor is as well.
Only one ***... you're practically unarmed!
I guess the replacement of the duck with a Stetson shield meant less armament was necessary.
The modern liners have six ducks, a shield and no ***s. Does this mean the ducks shall inherit the earth?[huh]
