Suede Shoes

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding suede shoes. Are there certain season where it is not correct to wear them ? I have a pair of Alden suede Chukka Boots that I thought are more correct for Fall, my Wife thinks more for Spring and Summer.

What is correct, or does it not matter ?

Generally I wear suede year round but usually reserve the lighter shades for S/S and the darker shades for F/W.

Don't wear them when it's raining or wet. Any other time is fine, IMO.

Thanks for the answers Guys. I have always tried to avoid rain with them, and bad weather in general. That does limit the times of year that I can wear them here in Germany, as the rainy season has started
