I think the one in the first link looks much more like a leather A2 than the uswings one. Maybe its the darker color.

I know you asked specifially about cotton but I wanted to add that many lambskin leather jackets are light enough for summer wear. It's an option that you might want to consider. Many lambskin jackets feel more like a leather shirt than a true jacket. Open cuffs and an open waistline will help provide ventilation. My warm weather jacket is a Wested Indy lambskin.

Achille, I was thinking specifically of my own Wested Lambskin. It's light weight and has the open cuffs and "action back" that allows for great ventilation. I have owned two. The first one was satin lined which proved to be a big mistake because the satin didn't breathe and became very sticky in my humid climate. On the second jacket, I went with a total cotton silesia lining which is much more comfortable in warmer weather.
