I submit Black Ray Ban Shooters, Maui Jims, and Costas. Always loved the shooters, but they make me look like Joe Biden. The Maui Jims work to block the sun and UV rays great, but this pair fits real close, and they can be hot and fog up. The Costas have been my favorite for a long time. they have a wide temple piece that does a good job of blocking side sun

We are off to a fund raising picnic at our church this afternoon. My Gamboa straw and favourite sun glasses will be my choice on this lovely sunny day. However, I have been told to dispense with the tie.

Earth Ezra in tortoiseshell, rx lenses with added violet tint. Bought a pair in 2024, liked them so much that when my prescription changed in 2025 I had a new pair made. (I still have the old pair sitting spare for future use, possibly as reading glasses).

Had thought about getting these made up with my prescription, but I'm back to very occasional contact lens wearing again, so it's useful to have a pair that are non-prescription. These will be going out with me on the 2026 Chap Flaneur on Sunday coming, 17th May. There will be photos then with a boater (a boater is my habitual go to for the Summer Flaneur).
