mid 50's navy blue herringbone suit. Close ups show color, close up with flash shows the herringbone pattern. About size 42-44.

Gabardine coat- great label. Fair-to-good condition.

Black wool gabardine pants. Used to be gray, were professionally dyed black. (with GOOD dye, not the cheap stuff that runs.) About 33 in the waist with room to let out.

Brown flannel pants. Great stripe pattern- notice the subtle blue pinstripes. About 32 in the waist with room to let out.

Take three, part 2- more men's clothing.

50's gabardine pants. Purple, great shape, but faded down the crease. Good to redye. About 32 in the waist.

50's golden-yellow pants. Great mini-checkerboard weave. Pants in fair to good condition. Still wearable. About 32in waist.

Extra-large polished cotton shirt. Great pattern of "horseless carriages". A few pinholes, but overall great shirt in great shape.

Extra-large rayon shirt. Great color, nice diamond detail. One buttonhole repaired, two pinholes in the back.

Retro-styled hawaiian shirt. Modern shirt, great pattern and colors, about a modern extra-large.

I have a modern StratoJac, mine's quilted nylon with down fill. Made in China circa 1990. Didn't realize that brand was an older one. Cool.

Yep, a good indication is the fact that Indiana was abbreviated as "Ind." The Post Office adopted the two-letter system around 1963, and in general, companies picked up the same system in tags, labels, ads, etc.

The jacket is tagged (shown) as a size 44, and it runs pretty true to size.
This jacket is about mid to late 50's; the jet in the tag reflects the era of fighter jet technology which was around the Korean War.
