+1! Love this vintage hat.

"Stetson Bantams" had ribbons that had a variety widths. Bantam was the term for "light weight." Imperial Bantams are 50's fedoras. I believe the 50's version had an embroidered rooster on the wider ribbon.

"So light you will never know it is there." (Vtg. Stetson advertisement.)

That a is cool. The embroidered buttons now present a bit of a mystery. Love a mystery. I have only read about the buttons on this forum.

Eric, this one was marked as a 3X Mode Edge with stars logo. It is super thin and lightweight, maybe the sweatband was replaced with one with the 3X logo for some reason.

Modern Bantam from outlet. Interesting, very thin and light felt. It says royal on sweat but it seems nicer. I can do anything with this brim. Ads I have found for recent bantams list them as 2 1/2inch brims. This one is 2 3/4". I can effortlessly put brim up or down anywhere on hat and even have both front and back down with sides curled up. Makes me think of the Dobbs cross country although I have never see one in person. It is a little larger scale overall than a current Stratoliner. If it had a thin ribbon it would look almost like a oversized strat. It has the 150TH round shiny sticker on the sweat.

Truly a lovely felt and the mid ribbon and wind-cord are just up my alley of preference.

Adding this one to the Bantam Bar!
I thought maybe it was a linered version but missing its liner. Not the case though! the "Stetson" tip logo is just worn very thin. The two vertical lines of the "n" is Stetson are all that is left.
