Nice find! As Josh said it should look great after some steam and brush work. Is it a Dunn & Co.? From the construction looks to be late 50s into the 60s.

it was fun to read the whole thread. I sure wish they would make a period correct top quality low crown modern derby!

It is a shame that the art of making those old thin stiff felt derbies just disappeared after a certain point. Bob at Blacksheep Hatworks is doing an amazing job though. He does blind brim stitching for the brim bindings and it looks fantastic. Not too mention he could do it in a variety of finishes and colors.

Grey with blue undertones. Identical blocking as the black cherry Harrods bowler next to it. I'd wager Dunn and Co. was the manufacturer of Harrods and Herbert Johnson's bowlers as well.
