Maybe you shouldn't be in the conversation if you can't understand it's about the principle.

Instead of resorting to presuming - like for example, I don't know, I will not presume that the reason for your geriatric outburst is caused by your body forgetting how to stay alive - I will remind you that principles motivated by personal injustice are not really principles.

You just don't want to pay what the jacket costs for you.

The amount of completely erroneous information being posted here is breathtaking, never mind the fascination of seeing the defences being provided for a shady, profiteering outfit.

I have literally lost count of how many outfits in the UK and EU I've ordered stuff from over the last three years, VAT removed as SOP (standard operating procedure). In what demented world do you live where you think paying TWO lots of tax for a purchase is either acceptable or NORMAL?! Seriously? Cloud Cuckoo Land?! Lol!

It's some weird kind of 'Stockholm sycophancy', a by-product of peon forelock-tugging to the corporate boot. More lol. Get a grip and stop touching your toes. These minority rip-off merchants need to be boycotted and put out of business. They have absolutely NO BUSINESS charging VAT-inc prices and then pocketing the VAT for themselves. NONE! PERIOD!

You mean like you presumed it's all about the money? Like that you mean?

Of course it's really a principle, regardless of your barely coherent assertion to the contrary. But hey, you carry on and make it about whatever you like, no worries.

Apparently, you're pretty much alone in your opinion. Wouldn't it be easiest to just accept that others see things differently than you do? Just don't buy from this company and everything will be fine.
Or you can buy, pay, get an invoice with VAT shown, and try to get it back from the exporting country.
By the way... there are other situations where you have to pay double tax. Keyword: lack of double taxation agreement.
Incidentally... this isn't the first time we've seen your way of communicating here in the forum, just because you don't like other people's opinions. Usually, newcomers with this attitude leave quite quickly, saying that there are only ignorant idiots here anyway.
Let's see how it goes with you ;)

I’m glad the consensus here is with common sense… companies deducting VAT for international orders is a nice perk, it isn’t an obligation and not removing it certainly isn’t a ****.

I imagine that anyone being outraged by this has very little understanding of the costs and logistics involved in running a relatively small business.
