The Edge's Hat during U2's Joshua Tree

Howdy all. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the name of the hat style worn by the Edge during U2's Joshua Tree era. I'm having a hard time uploading a pic but a link to a pic is here:\

It's kind of a round symmetric unbashed hat with a wide brim. I saw a similar hat made by Borsalino and passed on it, and wished I hadn't/ Thanks.

Looks to be an generic open crown black fedora, pretty common lid. IMHO

Ah OK I have never seen an unbashed fedora before (but am new to hats.) Is that a common way for people to wear them?

I have been digging a bit more... Someone online called this a "reservation hat" or "rez hat."

Seems a little odd that Borsalino would make a style that's primarily from North America though it's possible the Borsalino I saw was in fact an unbashed fedora...

A rez hat is just a Boss of the Plains hat... style that John B Stetson started with.

Well it's either since growing up on forth Berthold Indian reservation all my uncles wore either a bop hat or an open crown hat and called both of them rez hats.

Something like Boss of the Plains, but the rez hat seems shorter brim and higher crown. I believe that in general hats of Indian people feature taller crowns than gringo hats.
