I have two green fedoras, both modern Stetsons, and very different in their shades.
My first is my sage green Lamont. I really like the contrasting ribbon and binding. The second is one I just acquired, it is a Weekender in moss. I really like the green hats they seem quite versatile.

This bespoke hat by the ladies at Gamble & Gunn, has grown on me more and more. Previously I might have chosen black as a suitable colour but this hat just ticks the boxes whether it's worn with casual wear like an Aloha shirt, or more formally to team up with a green blazer. I would like to do the same with a maroon hat, but somehow maroon doesn't lend itself to a hat colour.
Tina suggested something like black cherry.

I could wear that quite comfortably. I just need to find out who made it.

Just suddenly became aware of this thread. I love a green hat and have quite a few, so why I haven't discovered this thread before now is a mystery.

Anyway, here's my first addition to the wonderful shades of green and hat shapes already posted here.

Borsalino Deliasca in Pineta (pine forest). Ca. 1930s.

Fantastic! I’m always impressed at how easy green is to wear.

When Fox Tailoring made this blazer for me I had thought that a light coloured hat would be the best choice. Tina suggested otherwise, her idea was to go green with the hat and try light coloured trousers. More cost, I didn't have a green hat that would compliment the blazer. A call to Gamble & Gunn for yet another bespoke hat put that right.

How I love the hat, it goes just as well with the informal shirt and trousers that Tina made for me. She's such a talent and I am a lucky fellow.

A more formal blazer that I would have worn a black hat with, now has a new perspective with green.

Colin Johnson told me that he had the perfect colour green. Knowing that he had previously made green Oxfords and knowing that although they worked well, Colin came up with a khaki kind of green. I love them.
