This is a new to me Supreme Quality Schoble homburg in midnight blue. I'm guessing from the 1930s based on the union tag. If somebody knows more, please feel free to chime in. It is a very dark blue and a nice felt. The sweatband is 2" dark brown with only "SAMPLE" debossed in it.

There is a small tear in the liner, but otherwise everything is in great shape.

The size is 7 1/8. The tag was solid black with barely readable numbers. It had fallen out, but I have also included a picture of it.

I also included a pic of a pair of ticket stubs I found tucked under the sweat. They are for a show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. I wish I could see what they were for. The price of the tickets were .25 cents.

Nice addition to the Schoble thread. That Ryman ticket might help you date the hat if you research it further. Grand Ole Opry moved there in 1943 but it was active under Lula Naff's leadership before. You're correct that the union label would suggest post 1934. Great find.
