Wow--this custom Aero Thunderbay is impressive! Great details like an Irvine shearling collar and a quilted lining make the jacket ready for anything fall and winter might bring. A couple of questions: Can you tell us more about the Olympia leather? Looks to be a great option for those of us who want something different than the current standard Vanson leathers but not as busy as the Vancouver or Bainbridge!

Do you know if ACE is planning on making belts with thicker leather? I love mine except for the thinness! It sort of warps (which could possibly be avoided with a double prong).

The Olympia is an olive-leaf tanned full grain cowhide and it's pretty thick--about 1.4mm! It doesn't have the infused wax finish of the Vancouver and Bainbridge, so there's less shine. Olympia is a little stiffer with the extra thickness, but still feels pliable (however, not spongy...it's a firm feel, similar to Badalassi). Right now we're using it for custom orders only, but we may introduce Olympia in stock jackets next year!

Regarding the ACE leather, we can ask about it with our next round of orders.
