Time to say Hi

Well, I've lurked long enough.

I was a sometime poster over at the IndyGear Forum. I still pop in and sniff around, get a nose full of lambskin, carbon break and kangaroo hide, but for the most part I'm more comfortable here. Feels a little broader, ya know?
I'll state a few things about myself as a way of introduction.
I'm a Lovecraft fan.
I'm an English Major lookin' to teach.
I comb with Groom&Clean and I'm a Bay Rum man.
Leather is nice but a safari jacket is just more practical when going casual.
Chesterfields trump trench coats but both have honored places in the closet.
Bowties are worn with double-breasted jackets or vests. No one wants to see that vast expanse of naked buttons, Slick.
Smoking jackets aren't short robes, they have frog closures when properly made... and quilt the lapels if ya can.
Fedoras are a disease and I'm not lookin' for a cure.
Breast pockets exist for a reason and the reason is linen handkerchiefs.

And of course, spats. Custom-made, ultrasuede, washable and eternal.
