Anyway, I thought I would start by asking if anyone else out there is a fan of the Two Types cartoons from the Eighth Army days?

Greetings, Ponsenby! I have that book from which you scanned your avatar. I am a bit of a fan of those two 8th Army style icons. In fact that's my screen name on the WW2 Reenactors Forum.

I must confess I'm rather fond of them, too. Some say there is a likeness between myself and at least one of the venerable gentlemen. I have a WW2 edition for sale at the moment, by the way.
