They are the frame worn by Robert De Niro in Oceans 11. They look ridiculous on him but great on other people.

By the way I am turning 47 this month Rather classic guido type dresser.

I think they are a polarizing choice (no pun intended). I wouldn't go near them but there are some people who might look ok in them. I'd probably more expect some young hipster neophyte trying to force coolness wearing these. But that's just my bias.
