Hello All,
I'm currently selling off a number of vintage items that my family collected during travels in America. I feel that most of these items should find there way back across the ocean . . . however, that's just my opinion. Anyway, someone pointed me in the direction of this rather wonderful forum, informing me that there are plenty of people with an eye for beautiful vintage/antique items. I hope to be able to participate more fully in the forums in the future -- I hope my first post being a 'sales thread' will not count against me!
Anyway, I have for sale a first illustrated UK edition of the classic Uncle Tom's Cabin. This book was published in 1852 by John Cassell, London. The book also contains 27 beautiful illustrations by Cruikshank.
The book is in good condition for its age, everything is still firmly held in place; however, there is slight foxing to some of the pages.
