Great pic. Where are the "No Masse Shots" sign. I can still remember reading one and asking someone what it meant.
If you don't know what you're doing you end up ramming the cue into the table & tearing the cloth. Same thing with jump shots.
Oh yeah. The place I mentioned owned by Johnny Tona, was damned serious about it.
Real or mannequins?
The one in the stripes and shackles, the "cowboy" on his right, and the figure laying on the table on the far right are mannequins; probably a display to draw attention to what appears to be a fruit and vegetables stand. The others are real people.
I saw the shotguns but didn't even see the one on the table.
I meant to add: "March 1941. 'Part of the exhibit of the traveling show 'crime museum' near Fort Bragg, North Carolina.' "
