Vintage Golf Clubs, Anyone?

I have recently become more into golfing.

Does anyone have and/or use vintage clubs when they golf?

Would it be worth seeking them out or would they only be good for hanging on a wall and not teeing off with at the local course?

Any vintage pics of golfers would also be appreciated.

FORE!

If you really want to be vintage you only need one club, a Shillelagh!;)

The pro at my club used to lend out sets of vintage clubs to those who were interested in giving them a try. They didn't hurt my game too much, probably because there ain't that much to hurt. [huh] BTW, I played the clubs with modern balls which supposedly makes a big difference.

I have 2 sets of vintage clubs, but I can only find one right now. It's a set of Nomad clubs in an old Dunlop bag. My other set has a couple of wooden shaft clubs, in a really old bag.

As far as pics go, we have a photo of my Great-Grandfather teeing off in a foursome that includes Bobby Jones.
