Vintage Men's Brown Captoe Shoes 12D

I think these shoes should belong to someone who needs them to wear with a vintage outfit. The person I bought these from speculated that these were from the 1950's. Some of you will most likely know whether that is correct. Please post if you have an opinion.

Vintage Thom McAn captoe shoes. These have minimal wear as the pictures show. "Thom McAn" is embossed on the soles and it has the original Thom McAn heels. "12" and "D" embossed on the insole. That is my size and I would say that these are true to size. Trees not included. First pic is a little dark. The others look a little redder than the true color. $85 shipped to the US.
