I am paring down my collection as it seems all I wear these days is my Explorer 36mm.
I'm a very well-established long-term member over at Watchuseek, with many sales under my belt. I'm happy to provide more info and pics via DM, or set up a video call. I'm taking offers... Happy to beat most prices, but I'm not giving these away gentlemen, so please use current market values as a metric, lol.
On the block I have:
This is the last generation with the 1861 movement, which was the final iteration of the classic hand-wound Speedmaster Professional movement that traces it's roots to near identical movements in the original watches that went to the moon... None of this current generation dual-axial escapement nonsense. That said, the watch does sit on the new bracelet, which is excellent, and was bought directly from the boutique.
This watch was one of the "Big Box Issues" from a few years back. As such it comes with the Omega NATO strap, which is unworn. No box and extras kit (loupe and medallion) on this one, as those were selling for like $1000, so I sold that when I bought it. However it does of course have the authentication card.
Also included is the original bracelet (which has had the polished center links brushed), an OEM alligator strap and 16mm deployment clasp (again from the boutique), an OEM vintage-style 1701 bracelet (from the boutique), an OEM 16mm buckle, 18mm buckle, and 18mm deployment clasp (all from the boutique), and this fun little period-correct NASA velcro strap from this guy in the UK who makes them for Speedies.
This is from 2017 and is in excellent condition, just a few hairlines on the clasp. This is the previous generation, with the proper size and the asymmetrical case... not the bling-y oversized monstrosity that dropped in 2023. Outer and inner box, all cards. This particular example of this watch is a bit unique and special... I'd be happy to go into that with anybody who's interested via DM.
