Bravo! I've been cranking out the last few client tax returns so I can call tax season over tomorrow (even thought we have until MONDAY this year to get the 1040s and extensions postmarked), and it had slipped my mind the 99th anniversary is here as well. I've always felt it so touching that in honor of all those who lost their lives in the early morning hours of that cold April 15 of 1912, the US gov't instituted individual income tax with a deadline of April 15 of 1913...

And I'm listening to the Mrs. Bradley Mysteries soundtrack album (Ain't Misbehaving - how apropos!) and relaxing a bit after a long taxing day. (Pun intended!) Just waiting for phone calls in the morning from 2 clients so I can wrap up the last three returns, file two more extensions and then coast a bit... I hope... I'm thinking I deserve a run up to David Morgan for one of those Akubra Squatters that are on sale...
