Here's the song that makes me think of my dad. He used to tell me that when he left for Korea the band was playing this song dockside as his troopship departed Fort Lawton, Seattle.

Always wore a tie..smoked a pipe...and smelled of Mennens. The aftershave that I wear to this day. Funny how you remember things like that....

I love to listen to Perlman do anything. Maybe it's just me, but it always seems like he coaxes a sound from the violin that is distinctly different from any other violinist.
