To each his/her own, but the back story is Renée Fladen-Kamm, then-girlfriend of The Left Banke's bassist Tom Finn and object of songwriter Brown's affection.

The real Renee....

My great-grandfather looked like Grandpa Jones. He played in a Country-Western/Bluegrass Band, as well working in a bakery third shift, to support his 19 kids (5 sets of twins, 9 single births.) He played banjo, mandolin, and fiddle, and pretty much anything with strings you could throw at him.

Our roots are in the south, my brother and sisters' names are Robert Lee and Dixie. We tend to wear that Hillbilly Badge with pride
