Love That Station

I started this thread back in 2006, I said no random radio, well I'm playing 'The 1920's Radio Network Stereo Service' and it's great. You'll have to google it as it's been on my iplayer favs list for years.

Mikepara that station is great I love the tone at the half and top of the hour with the announcer stating " the time is __ am pm Eastern "!

Today is the anniversary of someone that was very special in my life. I prefer the modern idiom of celebrating a life rather than mourning a death. All the same, even though I knew it would make me shed a tear or two, I had to play Garth Brooks, in loving memory.

I have recently acquired a second accordion (this one has different keys, and is a Club accordion. It is extremely useful to have multiple accordions.) It is quite nice looking. It was used, so it may be vintage.

How aging creeps up on you, it was just ten years ago, that, inspired by Tom Jones' video, we went in for, and won, a seniors latin dance contest. We danced a cha-cha-cha to Sir Tom's, later in life hit: *** Bomb. The part where the girl straddles the guy's waist, as he crashes backwards to the floor, was once, so easy. Old joints, old bones & stiff muscles have changed all that. I never thought that it could happen to me.
