  2. It was really hot & humid here again & I was really thirsty; wanted quantity over quality so it was cheap Margarita night.

Last of the Avalanche Colorado amber ale. But I bought some Sam Adams Oktoberfest, which is very malty and flavorful!

Gin and tonic, because the limes are ripening and I want to use them up. Beefeater gin and store-brand tonic.

Beefeater will always be gin to me as it's the first gin I ever had - and, love the logo. Also, great tail-wagging-the-dog reason to have G&Ts.

  7. Turbodog is a dark brown ale with caramel & chocolate malts, & Willamette hops. Too sweet of an aftertaste for me. One was enough.

Sam Adams Oktoberfest. Very nice and malty. Definitely gonna have to buy more!

  10. Try Bob's '47 Oktoberfest from Boulevard Brewing. I like it better than Sam Adams. Available in bottles & on tap.

  15. Outside temp of 91* & a Heat Index of 97* definitely had me thinking of October. Bob's '47 Oktoberfest that is!

    Hi
Last night, I had a few Rahr and Sons Octoberfest at a place called Republic. I had BBQ chicken sliders and Mac N Cheese.

  17. Granite City's American Brown Ale aged in Elijah Craig Bourbon casks, they call Blue Eyed Brunette Ale. It's a seasonal transition to a Porter or a Stout; not as thick of a mouth feel. Only available seasonally but one I always look forward to.

James Bond Martini, shaken, not stirred. Skip the gin, lemon peel (3 olives instead), and easy on the vermouth. Made with Endless Wall vodka https://www.endlesswallvodka.com/ Something new, at least to me, named after a trail in New River Gorge. This ain't no coinlicker, but truly a small batch, top shelf domestic as good or better than high priced imports. And what's better than buying American? Wicked Spirits Distilling Company comes outta the hills of West Virginia, on a rural route between Pennsboro and Harrisville.
Sorry this sounds like an advertisement. But yes, growing up in Ritchie Co., I'm a lil' bias. So what, this is quality vodka. Currently still a little hard to find, but it's spreading. Now in Parkersburg, Charleston, Morgantown areas.

Moosehead Lager. I liked it, but so did the bees, and one nearly ended up in my stomach!
